Yesterday was the Middle Distance Development Meet at Barnet Copthall and we welcomed swimmers from Amersham, Berkhamsted Sports Centre, Camden Swiss Cottage, City of Milton Keynes, City of St Albans, Hatfield, Hertsmere Flyers, Hounslow Hurricanes, Stevenage and Wycombe and District to our pool. Apologies to our visitors that our facilities weren't as good as normal - problems with boilers etc meant that we had no pool available for swim down - hopefully this will all be solved before the next meet.
Many, many congratulations to Charlie Boldison who broke 2 club records (50 back and 100 back) last weekend in Swansea. What makes these two records so special is that they were set by Neil Willey in 1992 - the year Charlie was born! Charlie had an excellent weekend all round improving on his 100 back NQT and adding a qualifying time in the 50 free.
Charlie Boldison (16yrs): 50 back in 27.59LC and 100 back in 59.06LC
